That’s been almost three months since our last rating and a lot of new smartphones have been added to our rating. On February, the World Mobile Congress added some beautiful devices to our best Android devices. Since last December more than 5 devices were added to the top Android devices. We will use our famous AVC rating method to show you the best Android smartphones for March 2014. Every month the numbers are changing and new phones are getting added.
NEW ENTRIES
Samsung Galaxy S5: S5 is a the new premium smartphone from Samsung. This is a great device, not the best but one of the best. Don’t look for tech surprises but for software add ons that will make this phone special.
LG G Pro 2: LG has been very successful lately with all these great smartphones that were launched after LG G2. LG G Pro 2 has the software and the hardware specs to go right to the top.
Sony Xperia Z1s: A really strong camera phone from Sony with great specs. This is the choice for Android fans who love photography too.
Sony Xperia Z1 Compact: Bored of too big screens? This device is as strong as all the competitors but it has a smaller size. Now it can fit on your pocket.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo: The little brother of Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It has a lot of its apps, the special pen but the tech specs are lower. Of course it is a strong device and it has a lot of reasons to be your choice.
Sony Xperia T2 Ultra: Ultra thin as a paper. This device has a unique design and great specs as well as a gentle price.
Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2: S Duos was a really successful dual sim phone, S Duos 2 is much better.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo: A low price 5 inch device will a lot of features and specs and price that will not hurt you.
Sony Xperia E1: The middle budget Sony smartphones were always famous. Sony Xperia E1 is one of them.
MARCH 2013: Best of the market
Right now the best of the market are as following:
- Width: The most slim device is Huawei Ascend P6 with 6.2mm
- Weight: The most light device is HTC Desire C with 100g
- Screen PPI: The screen with the most pixels per inch belong to HTC One (469PPI)
- Main camera: The best camera right now is on Nokia Lumia 1020 (not an Android phone)
- Front camera: The best front camera is on Huawei Ascend P6, a 5MP camera
- Processor: The fastest phone is Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with an octa core processor
- RAM: The phone with the biggest RAM is Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (3GB)
- Battery: The biggest battery can be found on Huawei Ascend Mate, it is 4050mAh
- Android version: The latest Android version is 4.4 Kit Kat
- Release Date: The newer the phone is, the best for us.
- Our View: We also have a personal rating that is one of the 11 ratings
RATING OF THE DEVICES
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a hard to beat device. It is still on the top position but now the competitors are really close.
That means that in the following months it is possible the number one spot will be given to another device. For now it remains the best Android smartphone with 70.6 points followed by Samsung Galaxy S5 with 70.5 points and LG G Pro 2 with 70.4 points. So these three phones are really close. Let’s say they are all winners.
In the fourth spot you can find Sony Xperia Z1s and then Samsung Galaxy S4 which remains a strong device. Another Samsung device comes next (Samsung Galaxy Round) and then we have Google Nexus 5, Huawei Ascend P6 and Sony Xperia Z1 Compact which is the first 4.3 inches device on the top 10 after a long long time. The software rich LG G2 is on the 10th position.
