With Nexus 4 you can type even faster with the trace-to-type function.
If you used Swype on Samsung’s devices, you will love this function.
At first you need to practice for a while and then you will be able to write faster than without that option.
Steps
1. Go to Settings
2. Select Language & Input
3. Tap on Android keyboard options
4. Check that Gesture typing is enabled (bottom).
Then open a document or an SMS and start writing by touching the letters you want to type without lifting your finger.
Don’t tap on the letters, just draw a line between them.
Only lift your finger when you want to move to another word and press space.
